  • Upon breaking the plastic and opening, the color of C E Ferulic can vary, ranging from relatively clear to pale yellow to amber. Due to the key ingredients in the formula, the vitamin C serum will begin to darken in color over time. Please note that this does not mean the formula has become ineffective.

  • It is normal for SkinCeuticals ferulic acid serum for the face to darken after opening due to air and light exposure. The formula will remain effective. It is recommended to be used within 3-6 months after opening with daily application of 4-5 drops to the face, neck, and chest.

  • We do not use preservatives in our products. Since there is no fragrance added to this ferulic acid serum, what you are likely smelling is the natural scent of the vitamins within the formula.
